Worst Medical Aid
Terminated medical aid from December 2022 even though I claim in April for hospital and clinics and used savings for medicine. Apparently I did not disclose that I have depression, which I did and gave them my medicine I am using as well. They approved everything and all of a sudden they are reversing all claims they paid from March 2023. I asked for application recording, still waiting for 3 weeks now. I am getting court order for the recording and I will take it further.

07 Jun 2023, 11:51I have the response but still have not got the recording which according to Medshield I did my application through Hippo(which i dont understand, isn't Hippo just an advisory system and once you select an option they send it through to that service provider? And also i don't remember doing my application through Hippo.) And according to the recording of Hippo i did not disclose that I have depression. How do I know that is the truth if I did not even heard the recording for myself. This is causing much more stress and anxiety on me and my family financially and emotionally. Please stay away from this medical aid, don't put your family at risk or expose them to unnecessary emotional and financial risk.
