UNBELIEVABLE

They rejected my hospital pre-auth for childbirth sighting that true-nondisclosure. Even though i have confirmation from nurse that administered my contraception injection. Therefore how i could i know. the lady told she doesnt know but i should have told them - How though - i was just as shocked when i found out! that being said - i was prepared to pay for the hospital fees but they proceeded to tell me they are cancelling my medical aid with immediate effect and that i must reapply now and go on a 3-month waiting period - irrespective of the fact that i have been a client of theirs already the last few months.

I inquired whether this is so that they dont have to cover the baby - she said that its their terms and im lucky that they dont ask me pay them back any claims they paid out to me - which is 1 I am lucky that they willing to re-instate me?!!!

Pre-aut sent to them in beginning of July - they ave been sitting on their decision for almost 2 months and now i am running around sorting out things when the baby is due in a approx month...

How do they feel comfortable doing this to expecting mothers Why put expectant mothers under so much strain and stress with their silence, lack of response and then rude staff to tell you how lucky you are to be considered for re-instatement
