Thank you Kanyi

I'm sorry that I've taken so long to write this. I would like to thank and commend Kanyi Nonyani for her excellent service to us on 1.04.2015. We were flying via MANGO from CT to JHB to visit my dad whose been ill. On arriving at the counter to check in, the check in clerk refused to check us in without birth certificates. She told us we can miss the flight and it would not be refunded but there was no way we would be allowed on the flight without the birth certificates of my two kids. We've been flying between CT and JHB with my kids for over a decade we've always just showed our medical aid card and that was fine. Apparently a new rule was put into place and we were unaware. At our wits end we called Medshield call centre. We asked Kanyi to please see if she could find the birth certificates on our medical aid profile and email them to us. Kanyi obliged without sounding irritated even though it had nothing to do with a medical aid query. She printed them out on her side darker as it was quite faint. She scanned them in again and emailed them to me. We were able to show the email via our cellphones at the airport. We would have missed our flight were it not for her. THANK YOU.
