SHOCKED AND APPALLED, ********* BEHAVIOUR

I am in discussions with CMS about the ********* activity within Medshield. My father had his leg taken off this year. He is diabetic. My mom is a recovering cancer patient. They are in their 70's. They have only us to take care of their interests. I discovered that Medshield was putting hospital accounts through their day to day. I threatened to take their ********** activity to CMS. They then reinstated R6000 into their day to day benefit. My father's amputation is PMB, meaning that Medshield is LEGALLY LIABLE for ALL the bills pertaining to his diagnosis & treatment.<br> 1) Medshield turned us down for a fully paid prosthetic limb. After writing to CMS I discovered that it is deemed part of treatment and they MUST cover the cost of the prosthetic. They should know this, yet they turned us down.I will follow through on the complaints procedure.<br> 2) Blood test accounts! We are literally being harassed by lancet and ampath for accounts that should be covered under PMB laws. This is going on since April. They are looking for any reason not to cover the costs.<br> 3) Xray for R279.20 taken 04.08.20 for his leg still hasn't been paid<br> 4)Diabetic glaucoma DR. KRUGER 24.07.2015. Rejected. PMB!!!
