Pathetic service providers

My Medical aid (Medshield) forces me to make use of Clicks to get my chronic as well as general medication. However, their service is PATHETIC!!! Every year round December/January they simply cannot supply my medication. How bad is that? Surely they should know they must order this early, as it is a regular item for me. They always blame the supplier. They also add items I specifically said they should NOT repeat. They add it on my medical aid and then say they cant reverse it. But it is THEIR fault. I wish I could just get my medication from Dischem, as their service was way better.

Good day

With reference to your Hello Peter Complaint received on the 02/02/2018.

It has been confirmed, the pharmacy has made contact with the member to explain the out of stock situation and that the member was happy with the feedback. It should be noted, a note has been made on the pharmacy’s system with reference to the medications that are not required, also training has been provided to the necessary pharmacy staff member’s with reference to reversing a claim.

We trust you find the above in order and sincerely do apologise for the delay.

Should you require any further assistance please contact the Medshield Medical Scheme contact centre on ***.
