Pathetic product and service

Medshield Mediphila option, dont waste your money! We are on the East Rand, not 1 hospital willing to help in an emergency because they are not service providers of Medshield Mediphila option. They won't help in the emergency dept because there is no agreement with Medshield that they will pay the bill. No emergency number available to contact Medshield on a public holiday either. Its disgusting, at 1400 per month, I think most straight hospital plans are worth more than this. Member must spend entire Christmas weekend in agony and discomfort because the medical aid plan is not accepted by major ER hospitals and the member cannot drive to Wilgeheuwel hospital.
