Membership suspension and double contributions

When I signed up I signed a cancellation form for my current medical aid TOPMED which the consultant assured me would be cancelled by MEDSHIELD on my behalf if I filled in the cancellation form. I have signed and filled in the cancellation form but to my surprise I now found out that i was belonging to two medical aids (TOPMED AND MEDSHIELD) and both of you want to deduct money from me. This is unacceptable as I had trusted MEDSHIELD to perform the cancellation on my behalf and to not activate my medical aid membership with them until TOPMED has been cancelled and deactivated and they received a termination letter from TopMed, which did not happen (NOTE: I DID HAND IN THE FORMS MORE THEN 30 DAYS BEFORE THE 1 DECEMBER ALLOWING MORE THEN ENOUGH TIME FOR TOPMED TO BE CANCELLED). This is causing a great inconvenience on my side due to the incompetency's of MEDSHIELD and its consultants for the misdirection and unfulfilling promises, as these cancellation forms were handed to me by Medshield staff and accepted by them.<br> <br> Medshield accepts no responsibility and do not want to refund my money for January and December even though i brought this to their attention on the 14/12/2015
