Medshield Terminates Membership Due to "CHRONICLE" Illness

My son had to be admitted on 11 December '19 to get a Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy procedure, on the 10th of December I received a call from an operator informing that the authorization have been denied because I did not disclose that I was pregnant!!! I then explain to the lady that I don't understand as I am not pregnant, she then reviewed her facts and corrected herself - authorisation was denied for my son to have the Tonsillectomy and Adenoidectomy procedure. Medshield have now terminated my membership due to me not disclosing that my son has a "CHRONICLE" illness which is tonsillitis. The credit department "does not take calls" - I am unable to get help in this matter. I am beyond boiling. Medshield have been one of the TOP medical aids in S.A. and now?
