Medshield REFUSES Nursing Services for Rehab

On 10 July,while my Mother was STILL in hospital,3 dr's wrote motivational letters to get Home Nursing.I Immediately sent the letters to the agency to get auth.NOWHERE in the letter did any of the dr's refer to frail care.They said she's been sick for a long time and need help to get better.At this point in time we were looking at 6 months for her to get better(but anything can happen, as EVERY SANE person knows).Guess what:Medshield REFUSED Nursing Service,and referred to it as Frail Care! But on her option is:ALTERNATIVE TO HOSPITALISATION,including PHYSICAL REHABLITATION,NURSING Services.If they can READ the letters of the dr's they WILL SEE AND THINK LOGICALLY that there is no mention of Frail Care,like they imp**** when they REJECTED the claim.HOW STUPID can people be,DO THEY WANT TO PAY FOR HER HOSPITALISATION,because THEY REFUSED to pay for REHABILITATION?A Sister can help her with the exercises she needs to do,she can help her not to fall and break a bone & get stronger and be \independent"again"
