MEDSHIELD OPTICAL BENEFIT IS DISGUSTING!!! ******!!!!

WORST MOST EXPENSIVE USELESS MEDICAL AID EVER!!!

I have been a member since 2017, I am wearing prescription glasses and I got my first pair in 2018. I only had to pay in for anti-glare lenses, which was not covered by the sceme.. mind you, I am on mediplus prime, which I pay for just under R3500 a month for. I then went to supersavers in January for my eye test and a new pair of spectacles, which they said that my medical aid plan only covers R550 for my frame and then single vision lenses, telling me I need to pay in more than half of the quote of my glasses.. this is ridiculous as it states in the brochure that the money comes from my overall benefit limit!!! this is disgusting that I pay so much for medical aid a month and my spectacles are not even covered in full. I have almost R8000 in savings but that can't even be used to cover for the money that they do not want to pay for my spectacles. If anyone can suggest a better medical aid who can accommodate a reasonable optical benefit, please list them below. MEDSHIELD IS JUST A BUNCH OF ******!!!!!
