Medshield no reply waiting a year now
I wrote an report last year about Medshield. Up to date problem still hasn't been resolved. Medshield is the only medical aid that won't assist there members that is in terrible pain. My specialist recommended that i go for a rhizotomy to relief my lower back pain. I sent through numerous motivational letters to no satisfaction. They also won't cover chiropractors or physiothe******s.

With reference to the Hello Peter Complaint received on the 03/10/2017.
We can confirm, an consultant from our hospital department has been in contact with yourself today, advising that the authorisation request for the rhiztomy has been reviewed and approved.
It was further confirmed that the Facet block and infiltration is still declined in accordance to scheme rules as a scheme exclusion.
Kindly provide our hospital department with the updated admission date.
