MEDSHIELD IS The worst medical Aid

Title: Urgent Surgery Delayed Despite Complete Medical Documentation I am watching my daughter suffer while Medshield Medical Scheme continues to delay authorisation for medically necessary, potentially life-saving surgery. She has a large ovarian mass that is potentially cancerous. She has undergone CT scans, MRIs, specialist consultations, and tumour marker tests. All required documentation has been submitted in full. Despite this, Medshield has delayed authorisation under what they refer to as a “non-disclosure review,” with no clear timelines or accountability. These ongoing delays are preventing urgent surgery and are causing unnecessary physical pain, emotional distress, and serious uncer*****y about her health. We have followed every internal process, provided all requested information, and escalated repeatedly, yet there has been no resolution. This experience has been deeply distressing and raises serious concerns about Medshield’s handling of urgent medical cases.
