Medshield any excuse not to pay for medication

I was admitted for Covid in January. After 8 months I received an account from Bedford life Hospital. I have an outstanding account of R17 693 for medication they gave me when I was in ICU. I wrote a letter to Medshield and was told that they do not cover Covifor and Actemra. Both medicine is given to patients in State hospitals. So why will Medshield not pay for the medication? Is it not also the Hospitals responsibility to get authorisation for the medication from the medical aid? A friend of mine that was admitted at the same time as me are with Discovery and they paid all her expenses. So people think first before joining Medshield.
