The doctors have indicated that she has brain bleed, currently she is unable to walk and her speech is impaired. It took complaints for her to be moved from casualty to ICU because the medical aid declined the claim submitted by the hospital. Doctors have indicated that she will be in hospital for a minimum of two weeks and still she is frustrated and stressed by being told that the medical aid will not cover her bills. The hospital has made her in the condition that she is in to sign the debt acknowledgment form., so over and above the fact that she has to deal with high blood levels, brain bleed, bedridden and impaired speech, she is subjected to stress of having to be told that her medical bills for something that the doctors deemed as an emergency cannot be paid.
