Medahield coreplus plan
Although we have been on the same plan for over a decade ( core plus) , they keep shaving off benefits and adding exclusions which they didn’t have previously eg routine mammogram every few years used to be covered under their wellness program, but now no longer is. Extraction of impacted wisdom teeth in hospital used to be covered but no longer is. This is I a plan which is supposed to provide 100% hospital cover and has no day to day benefits, but we find ourselves having to pay out the full 25k to have impacted wisdom teeth removed because they have now decided to exclude this benefit.

Mammogram:
-This is a Hospital Plan
-The Scheme has not covered Mammograms on the Schemes Hospital plan since 2018
-The Scheme goes through an annual review with the Schemes actuaries whereby the benefits and tariff structures are revised accordingly.
-The mammogram within the wellness benefit has been reviewed by them and not approved for the benefit year 2018 to date.
Wisdom teeth removal:
-The Scheme has liaised with Denis the Schemes Dental Management Department and they have confirmed that no application has been received from yourself.
-You have contacted Denis on the 16/11/2021 to discuss this matter, however the call was dropped by yourself after advising that no information has been received.
-Kindly forward the quotation and x-ray for the wisdom teeth removal to ***, to review and assist.
