Maybe think twice before considering Medshield as a medical aid provider.

What a mistake to join Medshield. Log tickets to register on the Online Portal, took over 3 weeks. Trying to contact the medical aid for assistance on this was impossible.. as they would be out… they will return my call, no sorry there is no one to assist you with this.. we’re some of the excuses. I have been trying for over a week, to see I am covered on my plan, for a specific procedure.Not 1 person is actually responding, and this is with the assistance of my broker. Imagine if this is a life or death situation you find yourself in, but no response from your “lifeline”.

I am looking into other possibilities as I shudder to think this is how serious they take their clients.
