Is there anything WRONG with making ADVANCE PAYMENTS ON MEDAID Collection of monthly contributions returned - ***

I received a rather nasty and unexpected message from Medshield I want to think from their credit control. Informing me that irrespective of any payments that might have been made they will still be effecting debit on 01/08/2023. I get paid on the 25th of each month or earlier if the later falls on weekend or public holiday. To counter any debt inconvenience I pay my Medaid contributions in advance it provides me with a peace of mind. Medshield credit control duly acknowledges my payment and so I was caught off guard and it left dumfounded when was hit with message from same credit control of Medshield informing that any payments made will be ignored and instead they will be proceeding to debit my account on their chosen date and this is the first they had not done so previously when I had effected advance payments. Now that debit order returned unpaid I am told my benefits have been suspended even though I made payment to Medshield and had suffered bank charges.
