Hospital Plan that *****s your money

My wife had a emergency C-section 3weeks ago. I had to pay the Gynaecologist & Anaesthetist 2 days after the operation. A total just short of R30k. for all the work that was done in theatre in hospital. Out of the R30k they only refunded me R1500!!!! And this was a PMB condition in terms of the Medical Schemes Act of 131 of 1998 which states that ANY emergency procedure, which includes giving birth, to be covered by Medical Aid.<br> <br> Ridiculous.<br> <br> If they don't pay me I'm going to the Council for Medical Schemes<br> <br> This is my second complaint about Medshield!!!
