Horrible service and refuse to pay for almost anything.

I have been on this medical aid for the past 5 years and have never had any issues with till the past two years. They are refusing to pay for anything, I constantly have to pay out of pocket yet for the past five years they have been deducting money out of my account without fail but when it comes to actually paying for services they come up with all sorts of excuses. They do not have a specialist network yet they expect doctors to have their codes and if the doctors don't use these codes which they do not have because they are not contracted to medshield, medshield then refuses to give me the codes so I can give to the doctor because that would be "diagnosing a patient". Now I am left to pay for absolutely everything yet they present themselves as this medical aid that covers everything and gives you peace of mind. To top this off they have the worst customer service agents who are full of attitude rather than an approach to assist. This medical aid has become a nightmare and I am truly disappointed in their declining level of service because it was never like this 5 years ago.
