<p>I joined medshield on jan 1 2017, today the 23rd i went to collect my chronic medication from the dis-chem pharmacy. I was told that i have no funds, how on earth is this possible when it was the 2nd time that i'm using my medical aid? I had to use my credit card and pay R376 for my medication which i need on a daily basis. I was told that my existing chronic condition is covered and that there is no waiting period. Till now i have not received my membership card. I need answers urgently and a refund</p>

Registration and approval on the Chronic Medicine Management Programme is a pre-requisite in order to access this benefit.
