I had added my son on to my medical aid from his dads, from birth there was no time he was ever without medical aid.

and now the certificate i got mention that the benefits for him will start after 3 months,

i called the contact centre requesting the reason for imposing a waiting period and i got non. I was only told the Scheme has the right to do so.

I have been recommending the Scheme ever since. since i Had a good service and never had issues,

now this is a biggest issue, how can a child be without benefits for so long. why is he been punished.

please assist with answers, personal answers as my son went to personal underwriting, the underwriter did not generalized that the scheme can Imposed whomever they want.
