Good luck if you're stuck with Medshield and have cancer

From the moment I found a suspicious lump in my breast in October to this very moment, I am dealing with almost daily frustration with the medical aid. Despite the fact that I am registered on the Oncology programme, I am hit with rejection after rejection for claims for treatment, tests and prevention of the spread. It's a constant "this requires pre-approval" litany. Then why do you have an oncology programme? I do not have the time ****erally. Taking time with cancer = death) or the energy (I am SICK) to fill in a million forms. This used to be such a simple medical aid to deal with, now everything is red tape and lack of communication. The only reason I am sticking with them for another year is to force them to fork out for my treatments. I wouldn't wish that on another medical aid.
