Fruadulently removed monies from account and now won't refund.

I was called by a broker (Carika Swart) from Optivest, representing your medical aid. She gave me a breakdown of your plan options. At the time I was subscribed to Discovery, and had been with them for 15 years. I was interested in reducing my premiums and Carika's proposal of your plan priced at approximately R2000 p.m seemed interesting. At no instance did I subscribe to your medical aid, to the contrary I was clearly expressive that if I was subjected to a late joining penalty fee and a waiting period, before being able to utilise the plan, I will not be interested at all. This is clearly evidenced in my communication with Carika. In December 2022, much to my surprise, there was an unsuccessful attempt by Medshield to debit my account. I called your call center and spoke to your agent Delano (***). I thereafter sent you an email asking you to refrain from further debiting my account. I could not terminate a membership that I did not subscribe to, and one that did not exist. Despite all my requests Medshield have **********ly removed monies from my account for December 2022 and January 2023, amounting to R5527,50. I need this money refunded with immediate effect. I have emailed Medshield and spoken to their call center agents, requesting my refund and they are now ignoring me and not responding. They are a pathetic institute as evidenced by their low Hello Peter rating of "2.3" For anyone considering a medical aid alternative please stay away from Medshield.
