Extremely disappointing experience with Medshield
My experience with Medshield has been extremely disappointing. I joined Medshield expecting reliable medical cover when I needed it.
Unfortunately, when I was admitted to hospital, I experienced significant difficulties with getting my hospital admission and related medical expenses covered. Medshield declined all claims.
I also sent multiple emails to Medshield’s Complaints department in an attempt to formally resolve the matter, but I never received a response.
I took out medical aid for peace of mind during unexpected medical situations, but my experience has been the complete opposite. The process has been stressful, frustrating and financially difficult.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Medshield.
