Don't EVER become a member of this medical aid!!!

I am furious with Medshield!!!! I have put in a claim for the birth of my baby. The amount I claimed was for R15 000 ONLY!!!! This was a home birth with a midwife, and the entire birth cost me R15 000. Medshield only paid R2515 and dont want to pay the rest of my claim!!! I PAY MORE THAN R7000 PER MONTH TO HAVE THIS STUPID MEDICAL AID, and they can't even pay for the birth of my child, who was with a REGISTERED MIDWIFE, AT HER REGISTERED BIRTHING HOME!!!! If this birth was in a hospital, then it would of cost R50 000 to R80 000 and Medshield would of paid it without any questions asked!!! So WHY can't they pay my small amount of R15 000???? I hate this medical aid!!!! I also have a savings with Medshield, witch has R35 000 and more in it, and I can NEVER buy any medication over the counter for my kids??? Why do I have this savings, if I cant use it??? Now that my newborn is added to our medical aid, we will be paying R8000 per month, and this is how we get treated!!!! This is NOT acceptable and I will NOT accept this nonsense!!! HOW can you NOT pay for the birth of my baby??????? My number is ********** 285 Member number ********** 6547
