Do not join the medical aid for peace of mind
Medshield has become a medical aid that refuses to pay any claims. They have the most illogical reasons for not paying claims while your day to day funds remain untouched so they can get the money back at the end of the year. I owe so many doctors and have blood test accounts I need to pay out of my own pocket while I pay medical aid each month and still have over R5000 available in my day to day funds. I have never been so frustrated and annoyed by a business in my whole entire life.
