declined operation

I am very disappointed in Medshield, I have been with them for years now and now that I need them they do not provide them at all, quick to deduct the premium, I am scheduled for surgery and they declined it just due to a small exclusion of laparoscopy surgery which I did not even see as it is so hidden in their brochure. I mean decline an entire procedure just because of one exclusion? What about paying the hospital and doctor and letting the patient pay for the procedure? but they cannot even do that, so a person just needs to suffer? I even got a letter from the doctor to help and still declined. I laid a complaint which I emailed to them, next step is taking this to the council of medical aid schemes
