Claim

I had an Optical Coherence Tomography on 14 September 2015. for which I paid cash. I was issued a cash receipt which read Grand Total 200.00 Tendered 200.00 CHANGE 0.00. I submitted my claim with the receipt attached. My claim was rejected with the explanation that because the CHARGE was 0.00 I was not entitled to a refund. I have made several phone calls, sent numerous e mails to explain that I paid R200.00 and the change given to me was 0.00 because I tendered R200.00 but I am unable to get the message accross to anyone. I am 81 years old and it is most frustrating to deal with staff who are unable to see the difference between the word CHANGE and CHARGE.. I have now been advised that my claim query has been closed.
