Chronic Benefits and Medshield

My husband has been in and out of hospital doing scopes because he has a bleeding ulcer. Every time he needs to get his medication it comes off my day to day benefits. Now that my benefits is used up i need to pay cash. I have asked the medical aid to put it on chronic because as per the doctor he will be on that medication for a while. medical aid said NO. why pay such a high premium when they cant do anything to help there clients. Where in hell do a person get R785.00 to pay for medication every month. They not even paying infill for my chronic medication i still have to pay R136.00 to get mine. What bull**** is this. One other thing i can think of is finding a medical aid that will cover his and my chronic medication.
