Bad service- Hospital authorization and scans not paid

I was covered by Discovery with no break or Gap I moved to Medshield & they received my payment when I got admitted to hospital medshield refused to pay for CT scan saying I’m still new yet I was covered previously why did I send my discovery memberships details to them if they don’t even cover me for my health needs .Then a day after my admission one of the agent calls me whilst I’m in hospital she was very insensitive & rude to me demanding me to give my GP’s numbers I doubt that everyone knows they’re GP’s contacts out of their head she doesn’t even know if I’m in pain or if I’m under strong medication utter disrespect & rudeness she then hanged up the call whilst I was looking for the numbers & this is for them to process my authorization for hospitalization I am rather sad & disappointment as a new member to treated like this does this mean I have made a wrong decision in choosing medshield to cover me for my health needs ?
