Bad Service
I have been a member of Medshield since 2000. My daughter has been my dependent until May this year, when she completed her studies. I have been paying R5600.00 for both of us. To my surprise after changing her status to adult dependent, Medshield deducted R9132. This is an extra R3532, which doesn't make sense at all, It's actually ridiculous. I am baffled by this hike, I will report to Medical aid schemes Ombudsman without hesitation.
