bad service

I was admitted in Milpark Clinic on the 13 th March with a lower back pain of which i disclosed with the medical aid when i joined. To my surprised the hospital was advised that due to non disclosure of my condition , the MRI scan authorization was declined by medshield . I then contacted the medical aid the following day with a reference number and was advised that yes, i did disclose my condition. The agent said she will advise the relevant department. I did not receive any explanation whatsoever. After spending a few days in hospital, i was later released on the 17 th March . On the 30th March i received an sms advising that authorization was granted for the scan but i was already discharged from the hospital. No apology or logical explanation was given for putting my in danger . I would like to know the reason behind the auth decline , and that, is this how the clients are treated at medshield? Did they ever consider the fact that they are gambling with my life? Is this the agreement we had when i joined the scheme?. Certainly not. I find this type of treatment totally unacceptable and nowhere near customer centric , that if they know what means. I'll be contacting CMS shortly
