Bad Medical Aid medshield

I had app**** for a medical in April 2023 and first debit was in May 2023 , waiting period was 3 months so the benefits were going to kick in ,on 1st of Aug 2023 . My son got sick on the 26th of Sep 2023 his cough needed attention since he is asthmatic.. We went to the hospital emergency and the Dr admitted him to check for BrochoPneumonia but we were sent back because of non -disclosure which they said it will take 3 days to check anyway to fast forward I had to fight the next day for him to be admitted and had to explain that how can I disclose Pneumonia when he does not have and initially the Dr wants to check his cough if it is not Pneumonia. We were admitted for 4 days and now the bills are coming back as they have not paid anything towards his hospital stay ... I complained and eventually recieved a call from Zanele who said she was from Medshield Retention 3 weeks ago and wanted to understand what is my frustration about... Till to date I am still waiting for feedback and I am not even sure what is the way forward... Medshield has dissapointed after 5 years of being with them... They are *********** and I feel they do not know how to treat their customers
