Agree to losing your money

I called their call Centre to find out about the Specialists Network (so I don't have to be out of pocket) and was told that there is no network. They paid a lousy 40% of my claim because it's my responsibility (that I didn't know of until I laid a formal complaint) to get the codes from the specialist, send those to medshield for them to tell me what the rate is. This "best practice" is not stated ANYWHERE but we are supposed to know this. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this medical aid. You're better off not having medical aid. At least you know you're on your own.
