Absolutely Useless in an Emergency – Avoid Medshield

I had a bad motorbike accident while on holiday. Tried calling Medshield — no answer. The ER said I was covered, so they did the op.

Now I’m sitting with nearly R25,000 in bills. I was recently retrenched — this has crushed me.

Medshield says they “helped”, but can’t explain anything. I’m still getting bills, and they won’t assist.

Now they’re asking for an X-ray report I never got. I don’t even know who has it.

Absolutely useless when it actually matters. Avoid them.
