My uncle's been suffering with strokes and he was re admitted to Lenmed. On 18/11/2014 Dr R Ahmed requested an MIR. Then Xray dept. got authorization from med aid and auth no. given to xray dept. is ***1. 17/12/2014 a month after my aunt is informed by Angie from Lenmed Xray dept. that her husband's scan was auth but not paid so Auntie has to pay. My aunt tried emailing med aid but they never responded. On 3rd Feb 2015 she called med aid on *** spoke to Francina who told her the problem was that auth date was 18/11/2014 but MIR was done 19/11/2014. So Xray dept. just needed to amend the MIR dates and they would settle the acc. Ref no. was 030215Q66X7V. Aunt asked Fatima from Lenmed xray dept. to amend account as per Francina's instruction and fax amendment to ***. 6th Feb my aunt called spoke to Zandi, who told my aunt Francina had given her WRONG INFO. No amendment would be done! My aunt qualifies for 1 scan per year. She then sent my aunt ex gracia forms for payment. The fact that Zandi wasn't bothered to even investigate this matter is shocking!
