Waste of Money

So working for a medical scheme administrator for 14yrs and belonging to Bankmed medical scheme, one can imagine what an utter downgrade Nedgroup medical scheme is. The call centre people can't answer your questions, nor can they direct you I the right direction. Being pregnant, I had to make use of government clinic so I wonder what the "AID" in medical aid must mean in Nedgroup's case. But it's compulsory for staff so therefore the nonchalant attitude when you seek assistance. Nice ante natal class benefit however Melomed hospital (amongst others) provide that free. Maybe the Barbie types might find that benefit useful but in the real world pregnant women need pathology benefit instead of it having to come from savings. Silly me thinking that being a staff member of a company and having medical aid as a perk was something to be chuffed about.
