MEDSCHEME OVER-PROMISES AND UNDER-DELIVERS... REAL SHCEMERS!

It took 2 months for the medscheme to eventually approve 27% of the cost for my daughter to get a R.S.C Corrective Spinal Brace for her Scoliosis. The reason for the part payment approval is that this brace in not clinically superior to the standard braces available. After all the evidence of research that was sent through with the motivation for the financial assistance request, I found the statement to be ********, inconsiderate and condescending. Anyway it is now almost 5 months later and that 20% payment is still not paid because apparently they do not know how to process this payment claim and they are trying to process it manually...?

I am currently distressed because in the last 5 months that the scheme has been trying to figure out whether to assist or not and how to, my daughter has grown almost 4cm and the curve on her spine might have progressed. This is inhumane and ********* and goes against the Medscheme Vision and Mission to "deliver quality, affordable healthcare.....We create access to sustainable, affordable, quality healthcare through the use of innovative expertise. We deliver this as an efficient, seamless experience. Our mission places our clients at the centre of our business."

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE WHO CARES ASSIST BEFORE MY CHILD'S CODITION GETS WORSE!

This is my last resort of desperation.

I need to understand why other medical aids pay the full amount for the R.S.C Corrective Spinal Brace for Scoliosis and Medscheme does not and still considers this an inferior method of correction and assistance...?

Again there seems to be a problem and carelessness because the concern is not resolved and no t much effort or urgency seems to put into this as the last I heard was an email to say the matter is being investigated. So please explain how this was resolved...?
