Medscheme - Employer of choice

So many times, employers are inconsiderate and emotionally disconnected, but Medscheme is a employer with strong values and who genuinely care about their employers. My daughter was born with trisomy 13 and given 3 days to live, then 3 months, then 6 months, then 1 year and then 2 years. She passed away at the age of 20 months and now lives in heaven.

While I am an employee of Medscheme I am writing this as a dad. Medscheme was so understanding when I came late to work, because I visit my daughter at hospital in the morning, when she had appointments scheduled with specialist, or simply when she was not well (which happened quite often). Yes, I had to submit the leave taken, but Medscheme cared in sense that they understood my time with my daughter could be very limited. Therefore, the approval of leave on short notice and the allowance for me to visit the hospital during the day or early in the morning.

i have to commend the type of culture that Medscheme creates aswell and it is evident through their employees who showed compassion and care in a colleague's child. Well done to the leadership of Medscheme in creating such a supporting structure within business.
