Mbmed
Mbmed is not helpful. We asked them if they would cover a procedure that that they dont usually cover and they said that they would cover a portion. We sent them our quote and they sent us back a quote of how much they were willing to cover happy with the amount we went forward with the procedure. After everything was done we sent them the invoice from the hospital I went to, our proof of payment and their quotation with the amount they offered to pay. We then received an email saying that they are only reimbursing us R3000.00 +\- out of the R11 000.00 they offered to pay and they offered to cover medication but only coverd hospitalization and things usually covered by the medical aid. Trying to explain this alone to their staff members is a nightmare coz they dont understand anything even with the relevent documentation and we are forced to wait 2 days everytime we call.....its been a over a month and we dont seem to be getting anywhere.

05 Jun 2019, 10:10My husband recieved a call from a lady soon after posting this and she was very helpful, she asked for all our documentation and just yesterday we recieved word that we will get be getting reimbursed.
