Appeal for chronic medication approved/denied?

Authorisation for payment of Nebido was denied and after my doctor phoned the Healthcare Professional Managed Care line to appeal and motivate some more, a verbal agreement was reached that approved the payment of Nebido without any other provisions attached! I was informed of the approval, but now Medscheme has still not approved Nebido and wants a scan done? I am disabled due to severe arthritis and feel Medscheme is being unfair/********* and in breech of an verbal contract!!! Legally speaking a verbal agreement is legal and binding! I was also told by Bianca Visser that there is no need for a bone scan and believe Medscheme is being difficult and insensitive towards me! My doctor and i are vey unhappy and upset about this and my doctor supports any action taken against Medscheme!
