Declined?!

<p>For several months I have been trying to get my medication as chronic.</p> <p> </p> <p>Medscheme rep**** saying my request had been declined due to the fact that I had not had a higher dose of my previous medication- even though I had really bad side effects on it.</p> <p> </p> <p>After trying several types of medication, I finally found one that actually works! My psychiatrist wrote a letter explaining the situation (with the side effects) and that Polmed needs to authorise as chronic.</p> <p> </p> <p>Even with the letter explaining the situation-Medscheme and Polmed still declined my request!</p> <p> </p> <p>The reply from Medscheme is several pages long with a small paragraph on the last page with tiny writing saying its declined.</p> <p> </p> <p>The whole point of having medical aid is to assist with medical costs and yet they continue to disappoint!</p>
