Uneducated and *********** Staff

My daughter has recently been diagnosed with Asthma and I take her condition extremely serious! I have visited Medirite Pharmacy in Parow Centre on 28/10/2018 and was help by a female named Glynis (if that is indeed her real name). My daughter has been approved by Fedhealth Medical Aid for the following recurring chronic medications: ASTHAVENT ECOHALER 200DOSE and FLIXOTIDE 125 CFC FREE 120 ACTUATIONS. I have provided Glynis with my medical aid card, Chronic Approval Letter from the medical Aid as well as the script from the doctor. Firstly she tells me that they do not have any Flixotide but only Flomist nasal spray. I'd like to know what does Flomist Nasal Spray have to do with an Asthma pump? Then I have to explain the difference between the 2 to her and she says okay let e got check. She then comes back and says there's no stock but she can order it and I can collect the Monday. I agree. Then she carries on capturing. Only to tell me the scrip is invalid. I tell her this is all I have then she says okay let me go find out... She speaks to another lady who confirms that the script is valid. Then she carries on capturing again. Then she says she cannot accept the Approval letter because it does not specify which medication. By then, I am so tired of waiting and explaining myself so I just tell her its fine rather leave everything I will go to another pharmacy where I can be helped properly... She laughs at me and give everything back. Then later during the day the medical aid sends me an email to say my claim has been declined. She went and submitted claim for the medication not only once but twice on my medical aid and from my Savings account and not as chronic! What the HELL? How can Medirite employ people like this? People that don't have a clue of how to work with clients, who do not know the difference between an Asthma pump and nasal spay, and who claims chronic medication from savings...... This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Medirite is putting the lives of innocent people at risk. What if the incorrect medication is given to people? What if my daughter had an Asthma attack and I couldn't get the pump in time just because of one persons incompetence?
