Preg Omega expiry date 10:2017

I bought preg Omega on the 29th of September and started using them on the 2nd of October because I was not advised the direction to use when I bought them from Thabi the pharmacist at Chris Hani crossing,my first time using them, I am very cautious with such as this is my first baby. I started using Preg Omega purple box till date I only realised that the expiry date it's say 10:2017 is it safe to use ain't sure,I then called the store at 10 am Nomfundo answered and attended to my query at first she laughed on the phone and apologised on selling the expired supplements,I then figured she didn't listen to my query had to rephrase my question, she now gave me a reply saying it's safe to use until end of October but if I am not certain to use I may bring them back. In my mind I couldn't trust her anymore, I called Preg Omega and spoke to Nicole she assured me that nothing will happen to my baby but her concern was I was not supposed to be having the supplements when they are due soon, nothing should be sold to the client if they due in 3 months and she advised to take them back and get another without a charge. I went back and spoke to the pharmacist of the day Mike Hadebe he entirely refused to take them back and his response was they will clear the shelves when the supplements already expired,I requested to speak to Nomfundo she tried to help me but want to charge me for another box, I refused. My concern now is what will happen at the end of the month coz I will had 3 days left, must I buy another box?in the box it's written 30 to use but that time I would have used 27 is it lost for money, anyone who comes after me and buys the box and not check the date because we trust our pharmacists,she will end up drinking expired tablets .
