MEDIRITE PAROW CENTER - Putrid service

Yesterday, I was at Medirite Parow Center. I went to get Ashtavent syrup for my son.

Once I got home I discovered the pharmacist gave me an inhaler instead of the syrup. Now should I have made it clear what I needed the syrup and not the inhaler, perhaps, but this is HIS JOB to ensure that I get the correct product. Up until yesterday, I didn't know what they come in inhalers too. Now when I called the pharmacy to explain the situation a very dismissive and clearly someone who lacks no empathy for the situation advised me its against the law for them to take this but and give me the correct medication. Be is so, do I have to now pay for a mistake because someone was not doing their job properly?

Timothy goes on to further tell me but I saw the package and why didn't I feel that its not the syrup? Really!?

Package designs change so frequently, I just saw the name and TRUSTED the fact that I will be getting the right thing.

This is beyond unacceptable. Now I am sitting with medication that my child is not able to use.
