Medi-Rite Sandown Sick Behaviour

I am appalled at the service I received from Said Mudo and Urshela Gounden from Sandown Checkers. On the 1st Aug my partner went to get flu medicine for me as a pregnant woman. My doctor recommended that I use Panado Medsip which is what my partner went to get. After consulting with the Pharmacists, they advised that Medsip is not right because it’s like mixing ****** and lemon in water and should rather use Sinupret. Even this recommended medication they were not 100% sure about as they could not find the list with safe medication for pregnant women. My partner purchased this but then after less than two minutes went back to them and asked to return this as I confirmed he must bring the Medsip. He was advised that the manager has gone home and won’t be able to make the full refund. I phoned my doctor on the 2nd Aug asking about this Sinupret and he advised to take only Panado Medsip. My partner and I went back to Sandown MediRite where Said advised that if it was a doctors instruction he should have prescribed a prescription and that it’s common sense we know you cannot return medication. Firstly, do not make us out to be stupid, some of us have relationships with our doctors where you can phone for medical help. His colleague whipped up some board from I don’t know where that says one cant return medication and in the same breathe Urshela advised that their manager was on duty earlier for a full refund. Are we really being bull****ted here? Over medication that my doctor said I must not take. Said even went as far to say we Sis not ask if one can return the pills, who’s duty is it? They said they did not know that we were going to phone the doctor. The service was absolutely disgusting and a place I regularly get medication from. Don’t treat patients like they are stupid. These are pharmacists who could not find the list for safw medication and had to ask each other to people full of attitude who did not want to refund our money and provide the right pills. I’m disgusted!!
