this is unacceptable at all.

Dear Hallo Peter, I booked a Pap Smear at the consulting rooms of Dr Knight at Medicross Boksburg in December 10, 2019. Before i made the booking, i phoned my Discovery Medical Aid Service Provider to confirm that the full costs of the Pap Smear will be covered. The consultant answered Yes that the full cost for the procedure will be covered. i arrived at the consulting rooms of Dr Knight on 10 December 14h00, 10 December 2019 for my appointment. My File nr 33779 was drawn and i waited for my turn. Nobody informed me of Any Additional costs which will be charged when my File was drawn!. Instead the person where i had to pay my R110 levy according to my Medical Plan, Essential Plan, Discovery, Medical Aid Number ***, ONLY AFTERWARDS seeing the Doctor, that i had to pay a Additional amount of R200.95. I told her that i have confirmed with Discovery Health that they will pay the Full Costs. There was no agreement before my Consultation that i will have to pay a Additional amount outstanding. i was not made aware or warned of any costs afterwards. i was not advised before the time. if i was advised Before the time i was going to cancel the Doctors consultation completely as it was additional costs that was not agreed upon by my Discovery Medical Aid plan and myself and i could not afford.

on the 18th of June 2020 i received a phone call from a Telephone number ***, the lady said in a haste she is calling from Lawyers rooms and that my Medicross account has been handed Over to them and i am on a Recording machine while Speaking to me. She asked me, Did i know about the additional costs before the time when i Paid for my account {which is my R110 Levy) which she did not mention and i must remember that my Call is on recording. so i did not answer her and the call died. the Reference nr is ***

I did confirm with my Medical Aid, they assured me that there will be no Additional costs, Medicross did not consult with me before the time and did not made me Aware of Any costs the Medical Aid, Discovery will not Pay for. it was Additional costs from their side which they did not made me aware of and now i am handed over to Lawyers. this is not acceptable as my Name will be Blacklisted now because of Cost i was not warned about before the time.
