Pay twice to see

I went to MediCross Melville on Friday 22 November they were closed around 3 Pm , came early Saturday and was told I have to pay a facility fee of R 160 and my medical aid and SARS won't pay it back apparently it's for weekend consultation ,unheard of.

Shouldn't the medical bill be set to accomodate rent like everywhere were costing is done ? What nonsense business model is this , it's as bad as paying to use a toilet at a mall , even worse because my fee should include all the fees related to me seeing the Dr ,well with exception of medicine perhaps, what is the rationale behind this reap off charge !

It's pathetic to say the least .One reason why as a country we need NHI.
