MEDICROSS WESTERING - DISGRACEFUL

I called in requesting a repeat prescription as I am going away and was worried I would run out of medication while away. I firstly had request this twice via email as I was told. The person that I dealt with did not even mention anything about an amount payable for a prescription.

I then get an email from my medical aid to say that Medicross Westering has claimed for a full consultation fee for a doctor just to write a prescription. I find this disgraceful. The doctor did not see me, he did not speak to me on the phone.

All he did was write a prescription for every medication he has ever given me when I am only on 3 medications currently.

They pump patients through as fast as possible just to line their pockets with more money and then still have the ***** to charge a full consultation fee for a prescription.

So I have to pay R436.30 for a piece of paper where the doctor did not bother to even see the current medicine I am on.
