Medicross Fish Hoek - Not Fair

Took my mother to Dr. Lombard in Fish Hoek yesterday. The account amounted to R 857.92 - R535.00 consultation fee, the balance for meds. Had to go back this morning as the meds had major side effects and had to pay a further R747.21 - R535.00 for consultation and the balance for neb drops. How does changing meds constitute a consultation?
